Envalyx brings together a distributed founding team with complementary experience across industrial biotechnology, enzyme engineering, sustainability, quality systems, operations, and commercial strategy. Working across locations, the team combines scientific depth with practical execution and translates laboratory insight into industrial requirements and partner-defined development plans.

Treating technical plastics as raw-material banks

Envalyx is developing enzyme-based approaches for hard-to-recycle polymers including polyamides, polyurethanes, and complex mixed materials. Work begins with systematic feedstock characterization, followed by tailored enzyme systems and process routes designed around the material and the partner's target outputs.

Partner engagements can include substrate analysis, feasibility assessment, proof-of-concept design, experimental validation, and process development. The aim is to evaluate recoverable molecules from technical carbon streams that conventional routes often underuse.
